Cosmos Art Echo to feature Sabyasachi Hazra on Sept 19
The twelfth Cosmos Art Echo session brings the artist, designer, and researcher Sabyasachi Hazra to Cosmos Centre in Malibagh on 19 September 2026.
Gallery Cosmos and Cosmos Atelier71 host the twelfth session of Cosmos Art Echo at Cosmos Centre, Malibagh, Dhaka, on Saturday 19 September 2026 at 5 pm. The guest is Sabyasachi Hazra, and the session is titled Contemplation: An Unhurried Journey Through Art, Purpose, and Life.
Hazra, born in 1978, took his BFA and MFA at the Institute of Fine Arts, University of Dhaka. He has designed some three thousand book covers and has published on Bangla typography and calligraphy, including Chitrolipi (2015), In the Quest of Bangla Typography (2022), and Tales of Bangladesh (2023). His recognitions include the Qayyum Chowdhury Memorial Award.
The session is built around a conversation on artistic practice and creativity, taking in his work in art, design, typography, and publishing.
